Welcome to the official blog of the CNMI "Size Matters" Campaign, which aims to promote sustainable fishing by catching or eating fish only after they have reached their L50 size, or the size at which they begin to reproduce. This is one way we can work to ensure there will be enough fish for all of us tomorrow.

Radio Spot with Felix Sasamoto begins tomorrow

Our Size Matters radio spot voiced by Felix Sasamoto will begin airing tomorrow.  You can hear it on KKMP (99.1FM or 1440AM) or on KZMI (103.9FM).  You can also listen to the recording here on our website at the top of our main pages.

A big thanks goes out to Felix for helping us with this project and for looking so good in that Size Matters T-shirt...

Gearing up for the Derby

Thanks for stopping by the Size Matters Blog!

We are currently gearing up for our first official event, the Saipan Spearfishing Derby on June 25th.  We will be sponsoring a prize at this years derby and additionally will be giving out the first of our posters and more of our brochures.  We'll also have more information on our upcoming contests, sneak peaks of our prizes, and other give-aways.

Take some time and look around our site.  We are just getting started, so there will be much more material on here in the coming weeks!

Cheers,

The Size Matters Team
